BAMS

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a professional undergraduate medical program focused on the ancient Indian system of medicine known as Ayurveda. The course provides in-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic principles, herbal medicine, natural healing, and modern medical sciences. Students study subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, surgery (Shalya Tantra), and Ayurvedic therapies like Panchakarma. Admission to BAMS courses in India is primarily based on the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) examination, followed by counseling.
