RECENT WORKS

RECENT WORKS

At Angel Around, our recent initiatives reflect our commitment to uplifting communities through education, healthcare, women empowerment, and social welfare. Each project is a step towards building a more compassionate and inclusive society.

Street Dog Rescue & Care | Paws for Hope

Our "Paws for Hope" initiative has rescued and rehabilitated over 200 street dogs in the past year, providing them with medical care, nutrition, and shelter.

Our rescue team responds to emergency calls about injured, abandoned, or abused dogs, providing immediate medical attention and transportation to our rescue center.

Each rescued dog receives comprehensive veterinary care including vaccinations, sterilization, treatment for injuries or illnesses, and regular health check-ups.

We maintain a temporary shelter where rescued dogs recover, receive proper nutrition, and undergo behavioral assessment and rehabilitation before being placed for adoption.

Our adoption program carefully screens potential adopters to ensure dogs are placed in loving, permanent homes. We follow up with adopters to ensure successful integration.

For dogs that cannot be adopted, we provide long-term care at our shelter or release them back to their territories after sterilization and vaccination, with ongoing monitoring.

We also conduct community awareness programs about compassionate animal treatment, responsible pet ownership, and the importance of sterilization to control the stray population.

Animal Welfare & Adoption Program | Forever Homes

Our "Forever Homes" program has facilitated over 150 successful animal adoptions this year, creating lasting bonds between rescued animals and loving families.

We maintain a comprehensive database of rescued animals, including their health history, temperament, special needs, and preferences, enabling us to make optimal matches with potential adopters.

Our adoption process includes a detailed application, home visit, interview, and trial period to ensure each animal is placed in a suitable environment where they will thrive.

We provide post-adoption support including guidance on pet care, behavior training resources, and access to affordable veterinary services to ensure successful long-term placements.

Our program extends beyond dogs and cats to include other rescued animals such as birds, rabbits, and occasionally farm animals that have been abandoned or mistreated.

We organize regular adoption events and maintain an active online presence featuring profiles of animals awaiting adoption, increasing their visibility and chances of finding permanent homes.

Additionally, we run a foster care network where animals can stay in temporary homes while awaiting adoption, helping them socialize and reducing stress in shelter environments.

Old Age Home & Elder Care | Golden Years

Our "Golden Years" elderly care program provides a nurturing home environment for 75+ senior citizens who lack family support or face neglect, ensuring they live with dignity and joy.

Our facility offers comfortable living spaces, nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs, regular health monitoring, and 24/7 care from trained staff and healthcare professionals.

We organize daily recreational activities including yoga, meditation, art classes, music therapy, and light exercises to promote physical and mental well-being among residents.

Our residents receive regular medical check-ups, medication management, and prompt medical attention when needed, with partnerships with nearby hospitals for specialized care.

We encourage family visits and organize regular events where residents can connect with their families, while also providing counseling for those dealing with loneliness or depression.

Skills and wisdom exchange programs allow residents to share their life experiences with younger volunteers, creating meaningful intergenerational connections and boosting their sense of purpose.

For elderly who prefer to remain in their homes, we offer home visit services including meal delivery, health check-ups, housekeeping assistance, and companionship visits to support their independence.

Child Education & Learning Support | Bright Futures

Our "Bright Futures" education program currently supports 500+ underprivileged children with quality education, learning materials, and personalized mentorship to break the cycle of poverty.

We operate after-school learning centers in underserved communities where children receive homework help, tutoring in core subjects, and access to educational resources they lack at home.

Each child receives a comprehensive education kit including textbooks, notebooks, stationery, school bags, and uniforms, removing financial barriers that often prevent school attendance.

Our volunteer tutors use innovative teaching methods including digital learning tools, educational games, and experiential activities to make learning engaging and effective.

We conduct regular assessments to identify learning gaps and provide targeted support, ensuring children progress according to their grade level and develop essential academic skills.

Parent engagement workshops help families understand the importance of education and create supportive home environments for learning, breaking intergenerational cycles of educational disadvantage.

Exceptional students receive additional support including scholarships for higher education, career counseling, and mentorship opportunities to help them realize their full potential.

Women Empowerment & Skill Development | She Rises

Our "She Rises" empowerment program has trained over 300 women in marketable skills, with 75% of graduates now earning sustainable incomes and supporting their families.

We offer vocational training programs in high-demand sectors including tailoring, handicrafts, digital literacy, hospitality, and entrepreneurship, with curricula designed in consultation with industry experts.

Our training centers provide a safe, supportive environment where women can learn at their own pace, with childcare facilities available to remove barriers to participation for mothers.

Beyond technical skills, we provide financial literacy training, rights education, leadership development, and confidence-building workshops to address the multifaceted challenges women face.

Graduates receive placement assistance, micro-loan support for starting businesses, and continued mentorship to ensure they can successfully apply their skills in the workplace or as entrepreneurs.

We organize regular women's support group meetings where participants can share experiences, address challenges, and build networks that provide ongoing encouragement and opportunities.

Our advocacy component works with community leaders to address gender-based barriers and create more enabling environments for women's economic participation and leadership.

Healthcare & Medical Assistance | Healthy Communities

Our "Healthy Communities" healthcare initiative has provided medical services to over 2,000 patients this year through regular health camps and ongoing medical assistance programs.

We organize monthly multi-specialty health camps in underserved areas, bringing doctors, nurses, and diagnostic services directly to communities with limited healthcare access.

Our mobile medical units visit remote villages weekly, providing basic healthcare services, preventive screenings, and health education to residents who cannot travel to medical facilities.

We maintain a medical assistance fund that covers critical treatments, surgeries, and medications for patients who cannot afford them, with a focus on life-saving interventions and chronic disease management.

Our health education programs cover topics including nutrition, hygiene, sanitation, reproductive health, and disease prevention, empowering communities to take charge of their health.

We train community health volunteers who can provide basic first aid, identify health concerns, and connect residents with appropriate medical services, creating sustainable local healthcare capacity.

Special programs address maternal and child health, including prenatal care, safe delivery support, immunization drives, and pediatric check-ups to reduce mortality rates in vulnerable populations.

Food & Basic Needs Support | No Empty Plates

Our "No Empty Plates" program distributes over 1,000 nutritious meals daily and provides essential supplies to families facing extreme poverty and food insecurity.

We operate community kitchens in underserved areas where nutritious meals are prepared using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, supporting both food security and local farmers.

Our food distribution program identifies the most vulnerable families through community assessments and provides them with monthly ration kits containing staples, cooking oil, and essential groceries.

Beyond food, we distribute hygiene kits, warm clothing during winter, blankets, school supplies for children, and other essential items based on seasonal needs and specific community assessments.

Our sustainable food security initiatives include community gardens, nutrition education, and training on food preservation techniques to help communities build long-term resilience against hunger.

During emergencies and natural disasters, we rapidly mobilize to provide emergency food supplies, clean water, and essential relief items to affected populations.

We collaborate with local businesses, hotels, and restaurants to rescue surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, redirecting it to those in need while reducing environmental impact.

Community Awareness & Social Welfare | Informed Communities

Our "Informed Communities" program has reached over 5,000 people this year through awareness campaigns on critical social issues and initiatives to strengthen community welfare.

We conduct regular awareness campaigns on topics including health and hygiene, environmental conservation, gender equality, child rights, and legal literacy using interactive methods like street plays, workshops, and community discussions.

Our social welfare initiatives include facilitating access to government schemes and entitlements, helping community members navigate bureaucratic processes to obtain benefits they are eligible for.

We organize community clean-up drives, tree plantation campaigns, and environmental conservation activities that both improve the local environment and build community ownership of public spaces.

Our legal awareness programs educate communities about their rights, available legal remedies, and procedures for seeking justice, with special focus on women's rights and child protection.

We establish community resource centers where residents can access information, receive counseling, and connect with various support services, creating a one-stop hub for social welfare needs.

During festivals and special occasions, we organize inclusive celebrations that promote social harmony, cultural exchange, and community bonding while raising awareness about social issues through creative mediums.
